Canceling a slate of shows next week - partially because their drummer was in a car accident, partially because they're playing SNL next weekend. It's up on their MySpace.
What is it with Langerado that they can't hang on to bands? Now two out of my top ten bands have dropped out. Garbage.

This is getting to be pretty unfortunate. I do have to admit that both RRFB and Vampire Weekend were both on my must see list.

hasn't been announced by Langerado yet, so I'm gonna have to entertain the possibility of a rumor, I'm not questioning you credibility (well I guess I am), but as long as they're on the schedule I still think they're gonna be there. Atleast until Langerado tells me to go f**k myself and puts Ani DeFranco in their timeslot. One of the two groups at the fest I just don't get, her and the national.

WE'LL BE ON SNL ON 3/8!
WE'LL MAKE UP THE GIGS IN ORLANDO AND ST. AUGUSTINE IN JUNE (THE WALKMEN WILL STILL PLAY ON ORIGINAL DATES).
WE'LL PICK UP THE TOUR IN ATLANTA.

Prose version:
We're traveling home tomorrow after an eventful UK tour. We were very excited to start our North American tour on 3/6, but something has come up.
We have been invited to play on next Saturday's (3/8) SNL, and were honored to accept! Unfortunately, this means we'll have to postpone our appearances in Orlando and St. Augustine and cancel our set at the Langerado festival. The Walkmen will still be playing on those dates. We are looking forward to meeting up with them in Atlanta and continuing our regularly scheduled tour. We will be back in Orlando and St. Augustine on June 7 and 8.

Nope, not a joke. I feel like Langerado needs to pull some kind of replacement in there, otherwise this is serious BS. That's a loss of two bands that a lot of people were really excited for.

both on Langerado and Vampire Weekend's website it said that they were still playing langerado. I hope this is wrong, I wasn't really going to see them, but it blows for all the people who were. A nice (JJ GREY AND MOFRO) replacement should be in order.
